MLB Pipeline re-ranks every Major League team's farm system at least twice, if not three times every year. High-level prospects receive promotions to the big leagues, or sometimes fall out favor with scouts. Still others — who few have even heard of — make a surprising climb through the rankings after being a relative unknown throughout most of the season.

MLB Pipeline's latest top-100 ranking features six prospects from the Cincinnati Reds organization. Chase Burns has officially graduated and is no longer considered a prospect in their eyes, meaning that the Reds have a new No. 1 — infielder Sal Stewart.

Joining Stewart among the Reds' top-100 prospects are Rhett Lowder (63), Alfredo Duno (75), Tyson Lewis (85), the recently drafted Steele Hall (89), and Cam Collier (100). Both right-handed pitcher Chase Petty and shortstop Edwin Arroyo have fallen out of the top-100.

Stewart is on the cusp of being promoted to the major leagues. In fact, it wouldn't be shocking to see the Reds call up Stewart once rosters expand next month. The 21-year-old hasn't stopped hitting since being elevated to Triple-A last month, and the Reds could certainly use some pop in the middle of their lineup over the final few weeks of the 2025 campaign.

The rest of the those among the top-100, however, will have to wait at least one more year before making an impact on the big league club. Lowder already made his Major League debut back in 2024, but isn't expected to return this season after suffering an oblique injury. Duno, Lewis and Hall are all lightyears away from making it to the majors, and Collier still needs more seasoning in the minor leagues.

Among the other top prospects Reds fans should be keeping an eye on are Hector Rodríguez and Zach Maxwell. Both players are currently at Triple-A Louisville and could be part of the Reds' plans in September.

With so much talent down on the farm, one has wonder if Reds President of Baseball Operations Nick Krall will be doing some wheelin' and dealin' during the offseason and finally cash in some of Cincinnati's prospect capital. He's got quite the treasure trove with six young players among the best in the game.
