To prove what a gigantic loser he truly is — as if managing the St. Louis Cardinals wasn't proof enough already — Oli Marmol decided to get into a shouting match with home plate umpire Bruce Dreckman despite owning the lead during Game 1 of the doubleheader at Great American Ball Park.

With his team up 1-0, Marmol started barking at Dreckman from the Cardinals dugout. St. Louis' speedy infielder Maysn Winn took a questionable strike that was just inside the upper-part of the zone which ran the count to 3-1. At that point, Marmol had seen enough, and once he started berating Dreckman, the St. Louis skipper didn't let up.

As you can imagine, Dreckman only had so much patience for Marmol's antics, and after a relatively quick back-and-forth between the two, the Cardinals manager was tossed. Of course Marmol, being the fake tough guy that he is, hurdled the railing as if he was entering a WWE wrestling ring. He got in a few choice words before heading to the showers.

Once Dreckman gave the universal sign of, "You're out of here," the Cincinnati Reds fans in attendance stood to their feet and cheered. This wasn't the first time that Marmol's mouth got him in trouble during the game, as he got into a similar, but shorter, shouting match with Dreckman earlier in the contest.

Hilariously, the next pitch from Reds reliever Taylor Rogers was nowhere close to the strike zone and Winn walked to first. If Marmol would've just kept his big yap shut, he might've been able to watch the end of the game from the dugout rather than the clubhouse.

But apparently all it took for the Cardinals bats to wake up was Marmol's early-exit. Well, that and yet another pathetic outing from former All-Star Alexis Diaz. The Cardinals plated five runs in the ninth inning thanks to three straight home runs that ran the score to 6-0.

Marmol will have to kiss and makeup with Dreckman before the Cardinals and the Reds take the field for Game 2 on Wednesday. Cincinnati and St. Louis are playing a double-dip thanks to a rainout on Tuesday night. The Reds will send rookie pitcher Chase Petty to the mound for his first ever major league start.
