The City Connect jerseys didn't' bring the Cincinnati Reds much good fortune during the team's first two games, with losses to both the New York Yankees and Milwaukee Brewers. But the Reds had arguably their best game of the season on June 23rd against the Atlanta Braves while repping their new uniforms.
Most notably, this game saw Elly De La Cruz hit for the cycle. The rookie finished that game with four RBIs, three runs scored, and one stolen base in the process. Joey Votto also hit two dingers and picked up four RBIs as the Reds emerged victorious with a hard-fought 11-10 win over the best team in the National League.
