Whether you're ready or not, spring training is almost upon us. Pitchers and catchers will report to Goodyear, Arizona in a week and the rest of the team won't be far behind.
After the coaching staff get their first look at this year's Cincinnati Reds squad, manager David Bell will need to fill out a lineup card pretty quickly. With all players reporting to camp on Monday, February 20th, the team's first Cactus League will take place on Saturday, February 25th.
That game against the defending AL Central Division Champion Cleveland Guardians will be broadcast live on Bally Sports Ohio and is one of seven games that the network will carry during Reds spring training.

The Cincinnati Reds television network provider for the 2023 season is once again Bally Sports Ohio. John Sadak, Jim Day, Chris Welsh, and Barry Larkin will once again be at the helm to bring you Reds baseball all year long.
But spring training is a little different, as not every game will be televised by Bally Sports Ohio. The network will carry the Reds Cactus League opener against the Cleveland Guardians and two days later, fans can tune in to watch Cincinnati go head-to-head with the Texas Rangers.
In addition, back-to-back contests against the Oakland Athletics will be televised on Saturday, March 4th and Sunday, March 5th. Bally Sports Ohio will also pick up the March 9th matchup against the Reds division rival, the Chicago Cubs.
A pair of west coast teams close out Bally Sports' coverage of the Cincinnati Reds spring training with games against the Los Angeles Angels (March 20th) and the San Diego Padres (March 22nd).
While not televised, the Reds final Cactus League game will be a split-squad exhibition against the Guardians and Colorado Rockies on March 26th. The Reds will then open the 2023 season at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates on March 30th.
