Goodyear spring training promo calendar released and it’s filled with awesomeness

It's hard to believe, but it's been 15 years since the Cleveland Guardians moved into their spring training facility to Goodyear, Arizona. The Cincinnati Reds move to Arizona one year later and have called Goodyear Ballpark home for the months of February and March since 2010.

This year, Goodyear Ballpark is celebrating its 15th year of existence with some unbelievably exciting promotional giveaways for those in attendance. While oftentimes fans only get to receive these types of goodies at minor league and major league parks, the select few who visit Arizona this spring will be treated to some fun-filled rewards as well.

In addition to allowing kids to run the bases after Saturday games and Fan Appreciation Day on the Sunday before both the Reds and Guardians depart Arizona to begin the 2024 regular season, Goodyear Ballpark is offering a few different promotional giveaways to the first 1,500 fans at four Cactus League Games this season.

All four promos will take place when the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians are playing one another, with the first game occurring on February 24, 2023. The first giveaway features a camouflage cap with a mesh back. Both team logos are featured on the hat and the number 15 is present in the center of the front panel to represent the 15-year existence of Goodyear Ballpark.

On March 10, 2023, the Reds and Guardians will meet for the second time at Goodyear Ballpark. The giveaway for that contest will feature a drawstring bag with the same logo that can be found on the camouflage cap.

The two teams meet again on St. Patrick's Day. The Reds will inevitablly be wearing green that day, and the giveaway is holiday-themed with a St. Paddy's Day Pint Glass going to the first 1,500 fans in attendance. The glass has the same logo as both the hat and drawstring bag, but it's green in color.

Finally, the Reds and Guardians wrap up their Cactus League contests on March 24, 2023 and a cooling towel will be handed out to fans that day. While those who call the Queen City home will likely be wearing hoodies and knit cap that time of year, it's liable to be fairly hot in the Grand Canyon State.

The Cincinnati Reds marketing team is always on top of their game with amazing promotional giveaways throughout the regular season. But with this special 15th-year anniversary in Arizona, Goodyear Ballpark is giving away some tremendous gifts of their own.
