One could argue that there's no better time of year in the city of Cincinnati than Major League Baseball's Opening Day. Hope springs eternal, and the start of the baseball season is essentially a holiday in the Queen City.

The Findlay Market Parade will get the festivities started, as it leads fans down Race Street toward Great American Ball Park for an afternoon filled with the crack of the bat, the pop of the mitt, and hopefully a Cincinnati Reds victory.

But if you're not downtown to witness the Opening Day festivities up close and personal, you're probably curious how you can watch the Reds take on the San Francisco Giants this coming Thursday, March 27 at 4:10 p.m. ET.

How to watch Reds Opening Day game against Giants

The Reds, like so many other major league teams, have undergone some broadcasting changes. Bally Sports Ohio is no more. Say, hello to FanDuel Sports Network Cincinnati. That'll be your home base for all things Reds this season, unless of course, it's a nationally televised game or exclusive to one of the streaming platforms like AppleTV+ or Roku.

Opening Day does not fall under that category, so if you have FanDuel Sports Network Cincinnati as part of your cable package, you're good. For those fans who are out-of-market, there's good news. FanDuel Sports Network offers a streaming subscription. It's also available as an add-on subscription through Amazon Prime. In other words, no matter where you live, you catch nearly every Reds baseball game this season.

As an added bonus this year, FanDuel Sports Network and FOX19 have partnered together to bring you at least 10 Reds games this season. The Reds Opening Day game against the Giants is included among them, meaning that if you don't have cable or the FanDuel Sports Network app, you can tune in to local FOX19 at 4:00 p.m. ET to watch the game.

There's no more blackouts this year, Reds fans. That means there's no excuse not to tune in to Cincinnati's Opening Day game against San Francisco. The Reds will have Hunter Greene on the bump and he'll be opposed by Giants' starter Logan Webb. Get ready, Reds fans. Opening Day is almost here.
