Unfortunately, RedsFest did not take place this winter. The Cincinnati Reds' annual offseason event was cancelled due to renovations taking place at the Duke Energy Convention Center. Each December, Reds fans are typically afforded the unique opportunity to interact with some of their favorite players from past and present.

But while RedsFest is a no-go for the 2024-25 offseason, the Reds Caravan will go off without a hitch. Rather than Reds fans coming to you, the organization will be sending some of your favorite players into Reds Country to visit you.

Reds fans throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia will have the opportunity later this week to meet and greet some of the players, coaches, and front office staff, along with mascots and the broadcast team.

Reds Caravan schedule: Terry Francona, Andrew Abbott, and others ready to visit the fans

A number of Reds players and coaches will be part of this year's festivities. New manager Terry Fracona, president of baseball operations Nick Krall, and general manager Brad Meador will be along for the ride.

Joining them at various stops along the way will be starting pitcher Andrew Abbott, outfielder Stuart Fairchild, relief pitcher Carson Spiers, catcher Jose Trevino, infielder Santiago Espinal, outfielder Jacob Hurtubise, relief pitcher Emilio Pagán, and outfielder Blake Dunn.

If you're a fan of the young talent within the Cincinnati farm system, several prospects will be headed out into Reds Country as well. Cam Collier, Sal Stewart, Alfredo Duno, Adam Serwinowski, Chase Burns, Jose Franco, and Sammy Stafura will join the caravan this winter.

In addition, Jon Sadak, Jim Day, Tommy Thrall, and "The Cowboy" Jeff Brantley will join the fun along with Reds' greats Todd Benzinger and Corky Miller.

Reds Caravan schedule: Look for stops in Louisville, Columbus, Huntington & Indianapolis

Reds Country stretches far beyond just four states, but if the caravan went throughout the entire US, it's doubtful those involved would reach Goodyear, Arizona by the time spring training begins. The Reds Caravan begins on January 18, 2025 with stops in both Dayton and Lima, Ohio. The following day, the caravan heads to the Hoosier State with stops Indianapolis and Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

After a two-day break, the caravan restarts on Wednesday, January 22 with a stop in Wilmington, Ohio before hitting Columbus, Ohio and Bloomington, Indiana on January 23. Next up is a three-city tour that includes Fort Wayne, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky, and Charleston, West Virginia. Finally, the Reds Caravan wraps up on Saturday, January 25 with a four-city stopover in Lexington and Bowling Green, Kentucky, Huntington, West Virginia, and back home at Spooky Nook Sports in Hamilton, Ohio.

The event is free, and is a fun experience for all ages. Go see some of your favorite Cincinnati players are a number of venues in the aforementioned cities, and get ready for an amazing 2025 season of Reds baseball.
