The Los Angeles Dodgers, after adding Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto have become the team to beat in the National League heading into the 2024 season.

They've also become the hottest ticket on every other team's schedule. While Reds fans are hoping to see Cincinnati breakout in 2024 and enter the playoff conversation, when the Dodgers visit the Queen City next year, it's bound to be a sellout with the star-power on LA's roster.

Not only does Los Angeles have Ohtani, Glasnow, and Yamamoto, but former MVPs Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman will also be wearing Dodger blue in 2024. So when do the Cincinnati Reds play the Los Angeles Dodgers next season?

When do the Reds play the Dodgers in 2024?

The Cincinnati Reds will actually become very familiar with the Los Angeles Dodgers during the early-part of the 2024 season. Cincinanti will play LA seven times in 11 days next season.

The Reds head out to Chavez Ravine on May 16th for a four-game set with the Dodgers before returning home to Great American Ball Park on May 24th to host Shohei Ohtani and Co. for a three-game set in the city of Cincinnati.

The Reds actually had a winning-record against the Dodgers in 2023. In six games against LA, Cincinnati posted a 4-2 record. One of those wins, Will Benson's bat-spike walk-off in the bottom of the ninth inning on June 7th, was probably the most memorable moment of the Reds' 2023 campaign.

Cincinnati will enter the 2024 with increased expectations after posting a winning record in 2023. The Reds seemingly could be the favorites to win the NL Central in 2024.

There's still plenty of time left in the offseason for teams like the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals to improve their respective rosters, but the Cincinnati Reds may not be done adding just yet either.
