The Cincinnati Reds chose a bad time to slump, losing four of their last five games against teams that they're competing against for a wild card spot in the National League.

The good news is they can still bounce back and win their series against the San Francisco Giants, and I think they can at least grab a victory tonight.

Reds vs. Giants prediction and pick

I truly don't believe the Giants deserve to be this big of favorites. Despite being able to find ways to win games, this team has struggled heavily on offense in the second half of the season.

In fact, since the All-Star Break, they rank dead last in the Majors in both batting average (.219) and OPS (.640). I don't see any reason why Brandon Williamson can't shut them down tonight. He has been great in recent starts, sporting a 2.25 ERA in his last four outings.

The same can't be said for Alex Cobb of the Giants, who has has an abysmal August. He has a 6.84 ERA across five starts this month. I expect his struggled to continue against this Reds offense.

I'm all over Cincinnati as an underdog tonight.
