The San Francisco Giants wore t-shirts during pregame warmups yesterday with a targeted message for Cincinnati Reds outfielder Tommy Pham.

The Giants wore shirts that read, "Fantasy Football 101: Stashing players on the IL isn't cheating." This is an obvious reference to the spat between Pham and Giants' outfielder that developed last month when San Francisco visited the Queen City for a three-game set.

Pham and Pederson got into an altercation over a fantasy football league that both players were in during the offseason. The interaction between the two happened during pregame warmups and ended with Tommy Pham slapping Joc Pederson across the face.

The SF Giants were trolling Reds OF Tommy Pham during pregame warmups.

Major League Baseball suspended Tommy Pham for three games following the incident, effectively making the Cincinnati Reds outfielder unavailable for the three-game visit from the San Francisco Giants.

That won't be the case in a few weeks when the Reds head out to the Bay Area to play three games at Oracle Park. Tommy Pham, barring a trade or injury between now June 24th, should be available for the three-game set in San Francisco.

Pham has taken a lot of heat for incident, and rightfully so. While I'm not privy to all the details, there was no reason for Pham to outright slap Pederson across the face.

That said, the Giants are fanning the flames by attempting to drag this story out. Tommy Pham has already stated that 2022 is his revenge tour. To date, Pham has taken out some of his frustrations on his former teams.

Pham is 14-for-45 (.311) against the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals this season with three doubles and four home runs. I don't think it's wise to make the 34-year-old outfielder angry.

While Tommy Pham missed out on the three games versus the San Francisco Giants at Great American Ball Park, you know he'll be licking his chops when the Cincinnati Reds head out west later this month.
