It's time to send your favorite players to the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. Each year, the fan votes helps to determine which top talent in Major League Baseball will represent the National and American Leagues in the Midsummer Classic.

Last year, the Cincinnati Reds sent just one player — Alexis Diaz — to the All-Star Game. But the Reds may be able to secure a spot on the NL All-Star roster for more than just one Cincinnati player this year.

While the Reds got out of the gates rather quickly, a horrific run during the month of May saw Cincinnati's momentum slow to a grinding halt. But the Reds have picked up their intensitiy in recent weeks, and the team's offensive surge has thrust several of Cincinnati's best players back into the spotlight. So how can you help send your favorite Reds players to this year's All-Star Game?

Voting rules for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game

Your vote will help to determine the eight position players and the designated hitter for both the NL and AL team. You are permitted to vote for player at each infield position, one for the designated hitter, and three for the outfield.

If your favorite player isn't list, there is a place on the ballot for a write-in vote. So while players like Stuart Fairchild are not listed on the official ballot, you may in fact submit a ballot with him as one of your three outfielders. By the way, Steer is listed an outfielder on this year's ballot.

How to vote for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game

Unlike in years past when you could visit the stadium, punch out the tab on the All-Star ballot, and submit your entry, MLB offers online voting options to pick the (Reds) players who are most deserving of making a trip to the All-Star Game.

So if you want to see De La Cruz, Jake Fraley, and Jeimer Candelario rep the Reds in Arlington for this year's Midsummer Classic, make sure to vote. The top vote-getter in each league after Phase 1 will automatically be named to the All-Star team. Pitchers are not part of the voting process, so even though Nick Lodolo may deserve a spot on the NL roster, there's a different method for nominating hurlers to participate in the All-Star Game.
