Believe it or not, we're approaching the halfway point of the MLB season and your Cincinnati Reds are sitting in first place in the NL Central.

Heading into today's series finale against the Atlanta Braves, they're 1.5 games ahead of the Brewers for the top spot.

Can they build on that lead today by clinching the series win against the Braves? Let's find out what the oddsmakers think.

Braves vs. Reds odds, run line, and total

Braves vs. Reds prediction and pick

The total is at a high mark of 11, but the double-digits doesn't scare me, I'm going to take the OVER regardless.

The OVER hit in each of the first two games between these two teams, and it makes sense when you look at their stats. These are the hottest two offenses in baseball over the last month. In the last 30 days, they rank first and second in the Majors in OPS.

Today's pitching matchup should also lead to plenty of runs as well. The Reds are rolling with Levi Stoudt, who strugled in his first career start, allowing seven earned runs in 4.0 innings pitched. He did bounce back in his second start, allowing one earned run in 3.0 innings.

The Braves are starting Charlie Morton, who has stumbled a bit in recent starts. He has allowed at least three earned runs in two of his last three starts. He may be in for a long day against a red hot Cincinnati offense.
