Cincinnati Reds baseball is returning to a television (and radio) near you, but things will look a little different this year. The Reds are set to open Cactus League play against the Cleveland Guardians on February 21, but FanDuel Sports Network won't be carrying the games this spring.

The Reds terminated their agreement with Main Street Sports Group - the parent company of FanDuel Sports Network — and have partnered with Major League Baseball. The team's games will now be broadcast by MLB and fans can watch games with a direct-to-consumer platform called Reds.TV.

According to MLB.com, fans in the team’s home television territory will be able to watch all locally distributed Reds games via cable and satellite providers or stream digitally on Reds.TV without blackouts.

The schedule for upcoming slate of spring games is always subject to change, but according to MLB.com, 11 Reds' games will be televised. The Reds' Cactus League opener against the Guardians will air on RedsTV, as will six other contests. MLBTV will carry three of the Reds games, while Netflix will pick up Cincinnati's exhibition matchup against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The same crew — John Sadak, Barry Larkin, Jeff Brantley, Chris Welsh, and Jim Day — are expected to be part of the RedsTV broadcast team this season, though it's unlikely that Larkin will be donning a headset this spring.

Some of the Reds' broadcast will be simulcast from various other ballparks throughout Arizona, meaning that Sadak, Brantley, Day, and Welsh are unlikely to be on the call when Cincinnati is playing away from Goodyear Ballpark. Of course, if you're a fan of Tommy Thrall and the Reds' radio broadcast, almost all of Cincinnati's Cactus League games can be heard locally on 700 WLW or WSAI-1360.

The Reds are preparing for what could be a monumental season. After getting their first taste of the postseason in 2025, Hunter Greene, Elly De La Cruz, and Sal Stewart are looking to lead the Reds back to the playoffs in 2026. Tune in for the tune up, Reds fans. Opening Day will be here before you know it.
