The city of Cincinnati recently celebrated their newest inductees into the Reds Hall of Fame. Pitchers Bronson Arroyo and Danny Graves were joined by former general manager Gabe Paul.
To be eligible for the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame, according to MLB.com, players must have played for the team for a minimum of three seasons. Those elected through a Modern Player Ballot or by the Reds Hall of Fame Veterans Committee must be five years removed from their final major league season.
In 2024, former second Brandon Phillips will be eligible to be placed on the ballot. Phillips was acquired from the then-Cleveland Indians in 2006 and played for the Reds until 2016. Phillips was a fan-favorite who contributed to the most recent division title won by the Reds in 2012.

Brandon Phillips was known for his flashy plays on the field, and he was always accommodating with the fans. He was a three-time All-Star selection, four-time Gold Glove winner, and won the Silver Slugger award in 2011.
Phillips had a lifetime batting average of .275, with 2,029 hits, 211 home runs, and 951 RBIs. His 1,586 games played at second base are most in Cincinnati Reds' history per MLB.com.
Phillips was beloved by Reds fans who enjoyed his fun style of play and big personality. The infielder was also known for his hatred of the St. Louis Cardinals and was instrumental in a benches-clearing brawl between the two teams in 2010.
That altercation began a rivalry between Phillips and longtime Cardinals Yadier Molina which fashioned boos from the crowds for several years in their respectable ballparks.
