In an effort to continue to have even more fun with this already exhilarating 2014 Cincinnati Reds season, we here at Blog Red Machine have come up with a new way to interact with you, our readers.
Also, we love to reward our readers for making us apart of their daily routine, no matter how often you log on and check us out. With that, I would like to announce our newest contest that will take a lucky fan and put him/her inside of Great American Ball Park.
Starting with the Tuesday night contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the contest will begin.
The premise is fairly simple. Select one Reds player at any point throughout the day that you believe will hit a home run during the game. Should they connect with a long ball, you will receive a point. The first person (or account) to three points will be the winner, and will earn themselves two tickets to an upcoming Reds game!
Have no fear, say you select Devin Mesoraco on Tuesday and he homers. Then, you select Jay Bruce on Wednesday and he does not—your streak does NOT reset. If you are lucky enough, you could pick three games in a row in Pittsburgh and have your tickets even sooner.
The only valid way to enter your vote (or selection, shall we call it) is via Twitter. Simply tweet @BlogRedMachine and then write “Brayan Pena” or “Todd Frazier,” etc.
This is absolutely free to enter and should be a lot of fun to play. Share with as many of your Reds brethren as you know, as free tickets do not come around very often.
Good luck to all that participate, and once again, thank you for being such loyal readers here at Blog Red Machine.
