Game 2 – Saturday, September 28 @ 1:05 PM (TV: FOX; Radio: WLW)

Pirates – Charlie Morton
2013: 7-4, 3.14 ERA, 1.245 WHIP
v CIN: 5-6, 3.97 ERA, 1.338 WHIP
@ GABP: 3-2, 3.68 ERA, 1.309 WHIP
last 7: 3-1, 2.30 ERA, 1.116 WHIP

At one time, the Reds owned Morton. In 2011, the righty scored 3 W’s against Cincy. In his only appearance in facing the Reds this season, he gained another W, allowing only 3 hits over 5.1 innings.

Reds – Bronson Arroyo
2013: 14-11, 3.60 ERA, 1.135 WHIP
v PIT: 7-7, 3.78 ERA, 1.309 WHIP
@ GABP: 52-43, 3.83 ERA, 1.231 WHIP
last 7: 3-2, 4.54 ERA, 1.248 WHIP

So the last few outings haven’t exactly been scintillating, but something tells me this effort has the chance to be the best Bronson has ever tossed at GABP. Why, you ask? I know some of you don’t want to think about this, but it is possible this is Arroyo’s last regular season game at GABP.

Great call on Aroyo pitching his best game ever… LOL

You honestly don’t know the difference between “a chance” and actually calling your shot? Joe Strauss was right when he tweeted that STL schools lack accreditation.

Your insulting my education with your great closing paragraph? News flash, you only needed to win 2 of 3 of this series in order to have a home game, not all 3 as you claimed.
