PIttsburgh – Francisco Liriano

v. CIN: 0-3, 4.41 ERA, 1.286 WHIP (3 GS)
@ PNC: 9-1, 1.47 ERA, 0.971 WHIP (12 GS)
last 7: 4-2, 3.14 ERA, 1.163 WHIP (PIT: 5-2)

.271/.322/.383, 3 HR, 10 RBI v. current CIN roster
- 3 HR: Zack Cozart, Chris Heisey, Todd Frazier

Could certainly say these two have emerged as the aces of their perspective staffs. Liriano’s home/away splits this season are silly (H: 8-1, 1.37 ERA, 0.990 WHIP; A: 8-6, 4.15 ERA, 1.421 WHIP). Latos’ are slanted that way, but only in relation to W-L (H: 9-1; A: 5-5). Something will have to give here. The Reds have been successful in facing the Bucs lefty, but there are at PNC.
