Cincinnati Reds First-Half Highlights

I know it’s not technically the end of the first half of the season. The Reds played their 81st game on June 29 which was a 6-4, 11-inning win at Texas. A Devin Mesoraco 2-run homer and Aroldis Chapman‘s 20th save of the season sealed that deal.

Currently, the Reds sit 5 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals and in third place in the NL Central. Not exactly what many of us had hoped for when 2013 began. There have been some shining moments from the Good Guys in the first half of the season.

Mes with a homer? Hmm…
