Vote Early. Vote Often. Vote Reds.

It’s hard to believe we’re already talking about the All-Star Game. Wasn’t Opening Day yesterday?

We’ve proved that we can handle what Citi Field has to offer, but now it’s time to get the guys where they belong: on the All-Star roster.

Voting for the Redlegs couldn’t be easier.

  1. Go to
  2. Click on the ASG Ballot at the top of the page
  3. Vote for the Reds player in each position
  4. Submit your vote 24 more times (you can only vote 25 times per e-mail account)
  5. Sign up for an account and vote 10 more times
  6. Vote again with your other 3 e-mail accounts

Okay, steps 5 and 6 are optional but HIGHLY encouraged.

We know the Reds deserve to be in the ASG, but there’s also numbers to prove it.

For first basemen, Joey Votto currently leads in BA with .351 and runs with 42. The next closest comparables are .337 BA and 33 runs.

Brandon Phillips dominates the second basemen in RBI (43) and takes second as far as HR (8).

Zack Cozart takes third in RBI (22) and ties for fourth in HR (5) in the shortstop category.

Our third baseman Todd Frazier is second in RBI (31), tied for second in SB (3), and ranks fourth in HR (6).

While only two of our three outfielders are in contention since Ludwick’s injury, they are still rocking the rankings. Out of 45 total outfielders, Shin-Soo Choo ranks second in runs (39), tied for fourth in HR (10), ninth in BA (.290), and tenth in RBI (20). Jay Bruce is second in RBI (32) and tied for seventh in HR (7).

Ryan Hanigan does not seem to rank as high among other catchers in the National League, but we all know what he is capable of. Especially on defense.

When it comes down to it, the Reds need your help in order to be on the All-Star Roster, so go vote!
