Shutouts are awesome. For a team that has struggled at the plate, seeing all those zeroes on the opponents side of a line score was welcome. Reineke, getting his first start of 2013, has now gone 14.2 innings this season and allowed only one run.

Next Game: Today (4/21) @ Indianapolis, 1:35 PM ET. Looks like Yohan Pino is coming up from Pensacola to get the start here. The Indians will go with highly touted prospect Gerrit Cole.

Could say this game was the Devin Lohman show since he drove in all the Blue Wahoos’ runs. Hyde gets his first win and appears to be headed in the right direction after a bumpy start to 2013.

Looked bleak going into the bottom of the 8th. The Hot Rods had just scored to take a 3-2 lead on an Andrew Toles homer. The Dragons put that four=spot on their side of the line by sending eight men to the plate.

Robert Stephenson (4.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 7 SO) did have a better effort than his last time out, but he faced only 19 batters. He wasn’t hit as much as in his last outing (8 H in 2.2 IP).
