As Entertainment Weekly reported yesterday, Pete Rose will be in a reality show. TLC has started the production of Pete Rose and Kiana Kim Family Project (currently a working title) and the show will follow, well, if you’ve watched one reality show, you know how this all plays out, right? If you don’t, you will gain some insight on the daily nuances of Rose and his model fiancée Kiana Kim.
If you’re going to Google “Kiana Kim” (if you haven’t all ready) and you’re at work, I highly recommend using safe search. FYI, your boss might not appreciate the images that hit your screen.
Then again, maybe so, but I still recommend it…
I do find it, um, interesting, that the network which gave Rose’s show the green-light, TLC, also gave us faves such as Jon & Kate Plus 8 (later re-packaged as Kate Plus 8), LA Ink, NY Ink, and Miami Ink (that’s a lot of ink!) and now “brings” us Toddlers & Tiaras as well as My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. It should be no shock that Rose and Kim are the subject of a reality series. You have many “obstacles”: age difference, diversity of culture, different “bases” (Rose in Vegas, Kim in LA).
Perhaps the most intriguing part from the EW.com article is that the family takes a trip to Cooperstown.
Strange. I remember TLC mostly for Trading Spaces. Vern could decorate an old shed with a tin roof.
