Reds on the Web: 11/26/11

With the Thanksgiving holiday, you would think that Reds info on these interwebs would be a little sparse. Eh, for only one day though. Here’s a few nuggets that hit the web over the past week.

Throughout the season, this list will come in handy. You never know when it will be needed. As for those listed, a couple are, shall we say, interesting.

Carlos Fisher looks like a fish out of water here. You feel that he must make the club out of spring training or be a member of another organization. Edinson Volquez? Hopefully he either regain some of his 2008 form or the Reds receive something of value in a deal.

There’s also a good explanation of the Rule 5 draft included here by Jamie Ramsey of Better Off Red. Another excellent reason to remember this post.

This past season there is no question that a lot of criticism went the way of Drew Stubbs. Red Reporter went to a place that is telling, but not so telling. You will gain a lot of knowledge and info, but the bottom line is…a big conflict? Not the type of conflict you think. Maybe one in your head.

We’ve all seen the videos on numerous occasions. Big Z flips out over this. Big Z flips out over that. Here’s a post that examines the potential of Big Z in the Reds rotation.

Not sure you need the theatrics that can come with having Zambrano on your roster, but a 9-3 career record along with a 3.31 ERA and a 1.310 WHIP at GABP may be a little appealing. The contract, not so much, but that’s covered here.

Not sure this is the route Walt has in mind.

I hope you can read this whole post within this clip. I think it pretty much sums up a lot of Reds fans sentiments. I miss baseball, too.
