Seems an odd thing to reference another blog in a general sense rather that to specifically link a quality article. I read several for my own enjoyment but rarely subject others too them; today I make an exception for a blog that offers a remarkable insight into a future face in the Cincinnati Reds dugout.
The blog is entitled “Thinking Outside the Box” and is written by Reds prospect Bradley Boxberger, the starter turned relief prospect selected in the 1st round of the 2009 draft as a supplemental pick with the 43rd overall pick in the draft. He started 2011 with the Carolina Mudcats and after posting a 1.31 ERA in 30 appearances recording 57 strikeouts over 34.1 innings of work to earn a promotion to Louisville. Brad registered a solid 2.93 ERA with the Bats earning 7 saves in 25 appearances. It seems while spending his winter in the Arizona Fall League, Brad has been asked by MLB to be one of a group of young prospects to write about his experiences. Judging by his inaugural post, MLB had a fantastic idea.
