Mark Sheldon of MLB.com stated yesterday that Cincinnati is already positioned very well for 2011.

With the 2010 NL Central title attached at its collective hip, the Reds are now the hunted instead of the hunter. I don’t think the Reds will stand pat, though. There could be some minor needs addressed by Reds GM Walt Jocketty and his staff. I put the chances of anything major happening at about 5%. I’m not ruling out a deal that could be viewed as a roster upgrade, shortstop and/or leadoff in particular.

But something Jocketty stated gives me room to let my mind wander.
