The Reds called up rookie pitcher Enerio Del Rosario to take Homer Bailey’s roster spot. The 24-year-old put on quite a show during spring training and came close to landing a spot in the Reds’ bullpen. Instead Del Rosario was assigned to Louisville, where he has rattled off a 1.46 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP in 24-plus innings of relief. He should stick around for a while. I would imagine he is pitches well, the Reds will send Carlos Fisher back down to the minors.
