Reds Going Green

Chris Dickerson has teamed with Jack Cassell of the Cleveland Indians to form the group Players for the Planet. The group will place recycling trash bins in all of the major league team clubhouses. In addition, all of the Reds players will receive an aluminum water bottle to cut down on the use of plastic water bottles. Go Green with the Reds.

Chris Dickerson has teamed with Jack Cassell of the Cleveland Indians to form the group Players for the Planet. Sure would LOVE to see Dickerson do the job ON the ballfield, and keep his mind OFF the planet – I don’t buy algore’s global warming baloney, and Dickerson will be hitting .200 during the season with lots of strikeouts…IF he gets his mind off of the job he’s supposed to be concentrating on.

Maybe, just maybe, if Dickerson starts producing – he’s overdue, to say the least, he might see more green ($$$) in his future. If he has another subpar-to-poor year, I hope he’s talking his green-nonsense with another franchise in 2011.

In Chris’s honor, I’ll double my amount of plastic bottles used tomorrow…AND I’ll enjoy a couple of Churchill-sized cigars. How’s that, global-boy?
