Bullpen Blows it for Bailey

The league’s best bullpen blew it for Homer Bailey. He pitched a great game against the division leader St. Louis Cardinals. He pitched 7 1/3 innings and gave up 2 runs. The Reds’ bullpen gave up 5 runs in 1 2/3 innings. The usually stellar relief pitching was bad tonight. We could have picked up a game on the division. We were up 4-0 and lost. Cincinnati can’t afford those kind of mistakes.
